Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    So, my 38MM Sport White Band, changed to Preparing for Shipment yesterday 18:40 (GMT). My 42mm SS milanese loop changed the status 5 minutes ago

    Hey!

     

    I'm in the UK also and i ordered the  Apple Watch Sport with White sport band and it is  now preparing for dispatch! I was just wondering does anyone think they will get there's on Friday ?

     

    When do you all expect to get yours delivered?

     

    I ordered mine on 10 April at 8.20am

     

    I hope i get it soon I am so excited !!!!

    MIne has now updated to 'Preparing for dispatch' so hopefully it'll arrive Friday!

     

    my fiance is still waiting for his card to be charged and status to change. He ordered a space grey 42mm black sports and his conf email was received at 08:04

    Yessssss.......UK is definitely moving now....my status has also changed to preparing to dispatch. Feeling hopeful for a Friday delivery now!!!

    So do we think that a shipping status change like preparing to ship can come at any time?  On Monday it looked like people were just getting updates between 3 PM and 10 PM Eastern standard time. Now more recently  in the UK and lots of other places in the US people are getting updates at any time.

    The UK is 5 hours ahead of us and most likely have their own central distribution centers. Ours here in the U.S. were running from 10am to 8pm PST.

    I'm getting a little annoyed at this point. My stuff has been charged for 2 days and still in processing items status. I order the 42ss with classic buckle.

    If you have been charged I'd worry a little bit less than those of us who haven't and have no movement either way.   I'm still hopeful it's only Wednesday we still have two days before shipping actually starts. But once again I keep waking up in the morning hoping for a charge or a shipping notification.

     

    Also, I know this may not be a popular thought, but Apple made no promises on the pre-order... they just opened up the ability to order and made no promises on what date it would ship or anything else other than the estimated shipping times we saw On our receipt for the pre-order which gave a span of a solid week even for those of us who ordered within 2 to 3 minutes. I know we all have experience with the iPhone and when you see a date on there that's when it arrives but this is something totally different with my phone I always got a single date not a span of a week.

     

    On a somewhat positive note, my Amazon echo that I pre-ordered, from a gift from my staff, back in early December I just got an advanced shipping notice on it that it will ship to arrive on April 27... A week ahead of their estimated  May 8 arrival....  So, at least we're not in that boat.

    Hey everyone my status changed Monday night to "preparing to ship" still haven't received a shipping notice but, I went to UPS.com track by reference, entered my phone number, ZIP Code, and country and it pulled up my tracking number and date of delivery.  Date of delivery is expected to be on Friday the 24th. I ordered the 42mm Stainless Steal case with black classic buckle.

    Has anyone received notice of delivery of 42mm SS with black sports band? I ordered at 3:08am on 4/10 with a delivery  4/24 to 5/8/15. Order still processing .In New York City.  In previous iPhone orders I have seen everything update within a few hours on Thurs and had the prduct deleived on Friday so I know that is a possibility.

    From what read apple has central distribution centers spread across the usa, including Newark NJ where I would assume people like us from NYC get our shipments from, so it Is possible that our watches can go out thursday and we get it on Friday as is only has to go across the river.

    Just got off chat. In the US you can use a gift card for anyone on the Apple Store except for itunes gift cards. They pulled up the account and saw there were no flags for payment information. The rep told me to hold tight and that as long as I get charged by Thursday there is still a good chance I'll get it on Friday.

    I'm in the same boat. I ordered a SS 42mm Black sports band at 2:03 AM the night pre-orders began. Stil sitting in processing with no activity on my card.

     

    Now that it's two days before release I'm getting pretty nervous.
