Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    The Apple rep that I spoke to earlier said even if you have a deliver date of 4/24-5/8 the queue for the most popular models is so long that Apple may not have enough time to ship all of them for Friday delivery and would most likely be delivered by next Tuesday.

    Ok I'm getting impatient now,

    I ordered a 42mm SS Milanese loop, 12:13 am PST confirmation email, though I have a May 13 - May 27 date. Can I still get it by 24th or next week?

    Any idea based on this model's popularity?

    Coz I heard some models are getting shipped earlier than expected.

    Any movement seen for this model?

    IT depends on which model you ordered, I'm waiting for the 42mm space gray which is one the more popular models. so I could be waiting till next week.

    I hope it wasn't very popular! lol.  In response to your last post, there seemed to be something yesterday that indicated the pink was making progress.

    People who preordered a significant amount of time before you are still waiting for even the slightest change so I would say that for you to expect something more at this point is not realistic.  You may not be waiting until May 13th but you certainly didn't order at the ideal time.

    So has anyone had the greatest status update yet of going to SHIPPED. I just saw an apple watch commercial right before I posted it, so maybe its a sign that mine will be shipping out and be here friday!! Mine still says preparing for shipment

    that won't happen until the carrier actually accepts the item.  I think that the farthest anyone here has made it is confirmation that the carrier has printed the label and its ready for pickup.  I imagine that tomorrow evening everyone who has made it that far will change over to shipped status.  If they ship too soon then we get them before the release date.  Everyone seems to be on Overnight shipping anyway so it really doesn't matter.

    It says I have a label and delivery is scheduled for delivery friday, but I did not get a email notification that a label was printed

    Crap guys - I wanted to be the first to post about the freaking stupid email I also just got from Apple!!!!!!

    Almost had a coronary when I saw the email notification on the front of my iPhone and then BAM, what a disappointment when I read the contents.

    WAY TO GO APPLE!!!!!

    what does your order status say? I have not had any emails or anything but mine says preparing for shippment and i also found my label that was printed out and it says friday delivery

    Josh, that isn't the way it usually works. Typically, a shipper will send out a shipping notice when they have sent the label info to the carrier--before the package is actually accepted into the carrier's system. In any event, we should be getting our notices that our packages have shipped sometime tomorrow (Thursday).
