Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    QQuick question to the ones who received the email: had your credit card been charged and what is the order statu? My CC was charged this morning, and the status changed to preparing for shipment but no email, yet. Thx in advance.

    Nope no credit charge or change in the order status. First thing I checked after reading the stupid thing.

    Here's my theory for the 4/24-5/8 people... Apple is reportedly using UPS and Fedex to ship the watches. The people in southern states are getting UPS service while the west coasters are getting Fedex. The UPS ordes are getting processed slightly different and thereby the status changes are happening sooner. Fedex's process will still deliver this Friday as they are all overnight, but something in their admin is not updating west coast/fedex customers. While Apple is doing the charging and the web updates they still rely on Fedex and UPS to inform them. Fedex just has a different process. (A complete guess)

    No, I dont think that's right. I'm in Texas and I just got a charge for my AppleCare on SS 42mm black sport band that I ordered at 2:03 am CT with no status change.

    Not all southern states that feed through the TN shipping hub get it, but the ones that do seem to be serviced by the TN hub While zero weat coast people have anything.

    I am in Louisiana and I ordered the sport model with white band at 2:02 AM CST.  my status currently says "preparing for shipment", however I was able to obtain my tracking number by entering my telephone number on the UPS website.  UPS states a label has just been created and it will arrive next day air on Friday.  Hope that helps someone out there...

    I just noticed something that may be significant. The "working on it" email referred to one of the two watches (42 SS black classic band) I ordered- the one still in processing. The other (42 SS Milanese band) was changed to prepare for shipping on Monday and wasn't referenced in the email. It leads me to believe that the emails are for watches that may NOT arrive on 4/24.

    No shipping notice yet but I see the same message as "Tlezell" on UPS website "04/23/2015". Now I am positive that around 2:30AM PST or so  tomorrow the shipped message will appear on the inbox and Apple watch will be in hand on Friday

    Still processing. Have not been billed. Did not recieve the email everyone else has recieved. Applecare was charged on the 12th.

    Ah... I went to UPS Choice site and see that my watch is scheduled to be delivered Friday between 12 and 4. Hooray!! I'm in California and ordered a 42SS with Milanese band.

    after reading your comment I went to go check ups my choice and it says delivery expected Friday afternoon!!!!! I would suggest everyone check ups now because mine didn't update till about 11pm pacific time.

    Yeah!  Also in California, UPS has a label for my 38mm SS Milanese, confirmation email at 12:05 PST on 4/10... i didnt get what i'm starting to think of as the "condolence" email.

    im in the uk and i tried to check the UPS and Fed Ex website and got nothing im not hopeful its going to arrive tomorrow as its still preparing to ship :-(
