Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    SHIPPED!  My silver aluminum with green sport band is now showing on Apple's website as SHIPPED, with a UPS tracking number and an ETA of Friday. The package is in Harrisburg PA, coming to Vermont. It weighs 2 lbs. I did not receive a "Dear John" email. Original shipping expectation was 4/24 - 5/8.

     

    I have not yet received a "your package has shipped" email from Apple, so you should check Apple's website and/or UPS and FedEx, if you haven't gotten a shipping email--you might have a pleasant surprise!

     

    Is there anything else anyone wants to know?

    Apple Store showing my Apple Watch Milanese  band has shipped. UPS showed a tracking number about an hour before the Apple site did. I am in Arizona. It's on for Friday.

    I'm in the UK too and mine is still showing preparing to ship but I do expect it to arrive tomorrow. We are only a tiny dot compared to the size of the U.S. so even if they come from somewhere in Europe or Ireland they can still ship it overnight to UK addresses. I'm expecting/hoping my status changes to shipped sometime this afternoon or evening.

    MMine shows shipped and got an email from Apple too. I'm sure many got this during the wee hours.

    Yay......mine has shipped! I'm in the UK and it is saying that it will be delivered tomorrow!!! Yippeeee!

    So do you actually believe that who got the status changed to Preparing for Dispatch, will actually have the watch dispatched today?

    My question is, did anyone get the "we're working on it email" and also their status change at all? I got the stupid email and no movement. I have lost all hope that I am getting my watch tomorrow. Still in processing and no CC charges. I guess I wasted my time ordering at 12:04pdt.

    Yay... Mine too! Although I did not get an email yet! My order has changed to shipped with a tracking number on the Apple Store App.! I ordered the Sports Watch Blue! My husband ordered the Sports Black a minute before mine and no CC charge yet! He has become reserved to the fact that he will not get his on the 24th since his is one of the popular ones. I would like to point out to those of you that don't get your watches on the 24th, that you were given a window, not a hard date like we normally get with our phones! So when or if you do not get your watches it is not a failure... It just means you will have to be patient a little longer! I hope all of you receive your watches on launch date, but it seems like that will not be possible! It seems to me that Apple might next time  have more on hand for the next launch! That is what happens when you make the watches to order, if we are to believe that is what happened! UPDATE: just got my email from Apple! My watch has been shipped! Good luck all!

    IM in the U.S.  The Apple site still says preparing for shipment but I managed to find my tracking number at UPS and it still says label being created but it also now says shipped by today with overnight delivery

    I have received the shipping notification email from Apple. It says  the shipment requires a signature. The usual "Pre-sign for this shipment"  button is missing. Is there no way to leave a signature for UPS delivery of an APPLE WATCH?  I have always been able to do this for iPad and iPhone deliveries.  This is a major hiccup.

    Apple email sent email that my watch has shipped and my CC has been charged and delivery scheduled Friday.
