Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Just curious if anyone has received a shipping notice yet for their Apple Watch If they were lucky enough to get an early delivery date (24th). I know if is probably a bit early but worth asking.

I got my order on on 4/10 at 12:03 PST - at least that is the time on the email from Apple acknowledging the pre-order. And no, as of this evening my status has not changed from Processing Your Order to Preparing for Shipment.

I sincerely doubt if anyone will see that update until at the earliest next week. And even if they do ship, Apple's policy in the past for new releases is that the shipping company does not deliver before the release date. (Now I am sure that there are some stories about a mistaken early delivery - or perhaps a hefty tip to the UPS or FEDEX driver......)

    don't worry if your cc hasn't been charged. There is still hope. My order is shipping for tomorrow yet my card has not yet been charged. So there is still hope for you!

    Apple will release all packages to UPS/FedEx tonight for overnight delivery, the reason why apple does this is so that no one get their watch before the release date like what happened in the pass. So for all of us who are still waiting for a CC charge and status update, there's still one more day Apple has to process and ship watches for Friday delivery, so all hope isn't lost yet.

    I Got shipping info and I'm picking my watch up tomorrow at 9:30am in Newport news VA.  For all those who are getting a watch add me on sharethebeat.com it's a cool site where theu send you random people that you can share your heartbeat with or use the draw feature.     Is there a possibility that some of the least popular models (Aluminum Sport Pink/Green/Blue) may switch over to shipping tonight?  The bulk of shipping updates I've seen are from the most popular watch combinations, and so far, I've seen little to no updates for the watches I mentioned. 

     

    Take a look at this Google Form that someone put together.  It shows the status updates for the watches users have ordered:

    Maybe there's a possibility that the least popular combinations were all set to go for an April 24th delivery?  Perhaps they're already at distribution centers awaiting Apple's green light?

    UPS my choice absolutely rocks. Nothing from Aple besides preparing to ship but all the info at UPS already. I didn't need a reference number to look it up with logging into UPS my choice.

    So for Los Angeles and maybe all SoCal, the watch is coming from Rialto, and is scheduled tomorrow.

    My delivery time is 11.45 - 3.45pm.

    SS 38 with black sports band. Package weighs

    3.1lbs.

    Woke up this morning to find I had a shipping notice as well! Delivery for tomorrow. It appears to be coming from PA; so I should think it will get to NC without any issues. Yeah!

    Sorry I was half sleep when I wrote this. I woke up to an email that my watch is set for delivery on Friday the 24th. I ordered my watch at 3:03 am in NYS. My scheduled delivery was for 4/24-5/8. I ordered the SS 42 mm black band. According to the UPS website it is scheduled to be delivered between 4:15 - 7:00 pm. I live in a very good neighborhood so I am thinking of leaving a note on the door for UPS to leave the package on my porch because although I have the day off I have things to do and can't sit around the house all day. Enjoy to those that are getting their watch tomorrow and good luck to those that aren't scheduled YET. I will be retiring from this thread once the watch arrives because I'll be sending heartbeats.

    No matter how good the neighborhood I wouldn't trust a sign with a delivery like this. I am lucky enough to live in a doorman building in NYC that I don't have to sit around and wait but being really friendly with them all they have already said they will text me as soon as it comes in.

    Im hoping to get my 42mm SS classic black leather ban tomorrow - on the Apple site it still says Preparing for Shipment but i manged to get the UPS tracking number by doing a By reference search at ups.com - there it says

     

    Order Processed: Ready for UPS

    Shipped by TODAY

     

    and its set for overnight Air delivery

     

    Hopefully i will get a SHIPPED notice from Apple but i turned on alerts for it at ups.com so maybe they will send out something
