Q: Apple Watch Shipping Notices

Thanks - I have done it before for my expensive items. Also, we are very friendly with the woman that delivers the UPS items. She usually hides the shipment in a certain area on our porch. I am okay with it.

My 42mm SS black sports has no update yet!  Anyone else with the same problem?  Looks like I'll be wearing my Microsoft band a few more days! BOOO!!!

I Feel like all of us with super early 42mm SS are getting hosed.

38mm Space Gray Sport Watch. No updates. Ordered at 3:03 am ET. Sister ordered at 3:02am ET and hers is coming tomorrow...ugh. I am hoping that Apple will still be shipping today for receive date of tomorrow.

I'm with you, JourdanMerritt.  My order went through at 3:04 AM ET and I got the Aluminum Pink Sport Band.  Still on processing.  I'm okay with the two week delivery window, but kind of upset in the order they are shipping watches out.  If I made the effort to order at the wee hours of the morning, I'd like to think that is worth something.

I hear ya! I got on and ordered mine at 0305 AM ET and still nothing! Weak! Oh well looks like we will be surprised if it comes tomorrow, but looking very doubtful!

Indianapolis - I now have my accessory 1m charging cable in my hand, but my 42mm SS classic leather watch is still "processing." My delivery date remains 4/24-5/8. I ordered the cable 16 minutes later [3:28 EST] than the watch [3:12 EST] via a separate Apple Store App order. Go figure.

My order went through at 12:05 PST and I got the 5/13 window for the 38mm Pink Sport Band, so quantities of that one may be very limited. I keep hoping you guys get some movement today, though.

Try having a Space Black Stainless Steel.  I haven't heard of any of those shipping yet.  Really frustrating to spend that much money and watch as people who spent a quarter as much get their devices shipped.  I mean, I'm happy for them that they're getting their watches, but I can't help feel slighted.

38mm SS Milanese - received confirmation email at 12:16 PST.  Order still processing.  Got the "we're working on your order" email.  Seriously doubting that.

Agreed on early orders being hosed. More info to add to the confusion:

My girlfriend and I ordered at the same time next to each other. Her watch is shipping to my place. She ordered 38mm SS with white sport band and I ordered 42mm SS with black sport band. My order went through first and I got an order number of W5xxxxxx. Hers went through quickly after mine and she got an order number of W4xxxxxx (WAT?). She has confirmation of shipment and tracking for delivery tomorrow. I'm still sitting in processing and got the email of doom last night.

This is madness.

To everyone getting upset that you ordered earlier than others but they have their shipping status updated you have to only compare to the exact same model. It seems what probably happens is factory A and B are making the actual watch. Factory C, D, F, and E are making bands. Then those parts all get sent to packing facility Y to be assembled and sent out. If say factory E is having issues making one band lets say the 42 mm link band facility Y isn't going to sit there with 42 mm stainless steel watches holding them for when the link bands come in. They are going to keep packaging the other 42 mm watches they have on order. So they are making loads of 42 mm with sports bands or leather bands etc but very little with link bands. Therefore everyone who ordered a different version is getting boasted shipping status while the poor link bands go under produced.

It isn't about being unfair or anything it is just filling orders by what stock is available. They aren't going to let a factory sit with a bunch of watch faces and bands and a lot of orders go unfulfilled while they twiddle their thumbs waiting for one or two styles of bands to be manufactured. They are going to make what they have and ship out what they have.
