How do you modify a playlist on match?

When I turned on match on my mac, I had a specific playlist setup. I modified the playlist on my mac, then the match appears to copy the playlist from match to my mac and overwrite the new playlist I created. Is there a method to modify the playlist in the match "cloud"? Is there a master copy that can be managed so all my devices have a playlist copy from which I manage and change?

HI,

Your master copy of the playlist is the one that you create in iTunes. With iTunes Match active, any new playlist or changes made by you will filter naturally through to iTunes Match. There is no need to select update iTunes Match.

The changes should appear in your iOS devices very quickly.

Modified playlists should not revert to previous state.
