Apple Watch actual shipping time?

When I ordered my Apple Watch is says is will be shipped in 4-6 weeks, the second time I checked it changed to shipping in June. I have heard some people says the actual deliver day will be earlier than displayed, I wonder if it's true. I know it is dumb to ask but I actually have to travel out of the states for couple of mouths, which means if I cannot get it before June I have to ship it to someone else's house to keep it for me. Btw I really want to have it before I leave though.
