hey there everyone. i have deleted my pages and would like to either get it back or just learn to convert my .page files to .doc. or something that open office with work with. i have bought my mac so i should be able to get the program again for free but the online store doesn't seam to see that. thoughts

it came on my computer and my computer is running 10.9.4. I have no idea what pages it was.
I deleted bc i can't stand the program and it takes space. forgot to change files though.

it was rebuild that i bought in september last year
It would help if we didn't have to pump you for relevant information.
You mean it was an Apple refurbished model?
If it was an Apple refurbished model then you should have the same version of OS X and entitlement to free software as a new model bought at that time. By "last year" you mean September 2014?
Therefore you should be able to reinstall Pages from the App Store and thus open your documents and Export them to .doc files that you can open with OpenOffice.
If the App Store does not let you reinstall Pages you need to tell us exactly what happens when you try.
