Help my mic isn't working! Newer iPod touch 5th gen

hello, my ipod 5th generation mic stopped working (I did Not do anything to it to harm it, there are only a bit of colour gone from the back of the case but it stopped working and I have to yell into the mic and when I got it my screen appeared loose and my home button has problems (I have an iPod touch 5th gen 16gb (yes it has a cam and all)

can I get it exchanged for a IPOD 5 also but with more space and still have all my music and photos ?
