Q: Iphoto and new photos app on macbook

Hi guys,

So my macbook updated to the newest OSX version and to my horror iphoto has gone and been replaced with the new photos app

Anyway, now when i sync my photo from itunes and try to synch photos it does not allow me to select the photos app or folder

This is the image that comes up...

it also gives me an option to choose a folder but it wont let me locate photos.

Obviously in times gone by i would simply select iphoto and the event i needed

Please help

A:

iPhoto is not gone and it has not been replaced. The new app is added to your Mac, iPhoto is still there. Try launch it.
