Apple ID suddenly not accepted.

Apple ID suddenly not accepted. Tried everything. Gave up and set new ID. Fine but next day that not accepted. Put in old ID and it worked! OK but worried there is an invasion here - any ideas?

Breaking new! I needed new ID to get into this chat.

So now I have 2 IDs ?

iMac11,3, Mac OS X (10.6.5), Mem 6Gb
