After updating to 8.3, Photos app pixelates TIFF files

After updating to 8.3 on two of our iPads all the TIFF pix in the Photos app appear pixelated when enlarged. Thumbnails look normal as do all the JPEG pix. The problem is the same regardless if the images are in camera roll or separate folders.Repeated hard shutdowns did not resolve the problem. We cannot find any discussions about (or even references to) this problem online. Maybe because most people work exclusively with JPEG files? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having this problem as well, since iOS 8.3. Are you, by chance, creating these TIFF files in Photoshop? If so, which version? Because I notice when they're created in Photoshop, the Photos app pixelates the photos. If I create the TIFF in, say, Preview, it works normally.
