Logic X hangs on start up. Updating information about audio units plug ins.

I have tried starting up holding down shift and control but the same screen hangs..

I have tried unchecking the core audio enabled in preferences /audio. Logic then completes booting and i can load a project but my plug ins are not available

Plugin manager remains greyed out in Preferences pane.

I have tried removing all my .components from Library/Audio/Plugins/Components with no result..

Logic has crashed on exit for a few sessions now but since the project loaded fine for the next season i had not looked into it yet.

Now it won't load properly..

There are several crash reports in Utilities/Console.. Im not sure which is most relevant to my issue.. so I have chosen a recent one to post..

Any further help appreciated..

The log is very long and won't seem to post.. it might exceed character count for postings.

also i have tried trashing preferences/ com.apple.logic10.plist and the other cs plist recommended in a few forum posts..

i have checked the ~ Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components as well.

the latest is by trashing the cache i have managed to get past the hanging screen and open a project but I have no plugins and also virtual instruments available. ( orange ! icon)

I can now access the plugin manager and tried a rescan but it won't validate plugins that I have licenses for. I should add I am not running any cracks etc, it is all purchased and licensed plugins or demo versions.

i have checked the ~ Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components as well.

the latest is by trashing the cache i have managed to get past the hanging screen and open a project but I have no plugins and also virtual instruments available. ( orange ! icon)

I can now access the plugin manager and tried a rescan but it won't validate plugins that I have licenses for. I should add I am not running any cracks etc, it is all purchased and licensed plugins or demo versions.

So I trashed all the Arturia files in the locations indicated, and the cache and rebooted...

Unfortunately it seems to have reverted to the hanging screen again..

starting to think I might need to reinstall Logic.... : (

maybe i should instead try trashing all my plugins and virtual instruments ..?

not sure the best way to do thus without involving hours re downloading and installing..
