Just updated OS to 10.2 and FCPX to 10.2 and now when I try connecting PMW 200 to import footage FCPX crashes it used to work perfect before and also AJA T_tap is not found any more for playback to monitor
Any help would be very appreciated as I work for Hospital and have a project to urgently complete

I'm having the same issue when I insert and import SDHC cards from my video camera. FCP 10.2 crashes. What's up with this. I now drag the clip files from the desktop to the events library. Very time consuming......
Are you using a PMW200 as well?
For info I have removed AJA T-Tap drivers and re installed new beta version of AJA drivers. This did not work at first when paling the video in the timeline external monitor picture was jumping all over the place. Shut down MAC re booted and now it seems to be working so now I will look for importing XDCAM issues I have. It is probably the PDZK-P1 XDCAM transfer file that needs updating
I am having to use XDCAM transfer utility to import MXF files from camera then import to FCP which is a pain, before upgrading I could just connect the camera and FCP would open import window automatically to import footage
I am not using AJA T-Tap but I am also unable to import XDCAM footage from a PMW-200.
FCPx 10.2 hangs when importing directly from SxS card or from a disk image created via Disk Utility.
One workaround my colleague found was to copy the contents of the SxS card to a folder and then import from that folder.
Another workaround shared by an Apple Tech (literally seconds ago) was to use FCPx's import window to create a camera archive directly from SxS card, and then import from that archive. I haven't tested that process but will do so soon.
Sony has updated PDZK-LT2 1.2 drivers for XDCAM importing to FCP 10.2 and after installing FCP X does not crash when I connect my PMW 200 camera and the media import window opens automatically in FCPX showing camera footage. I no longer get 'flamingo driver error" message when FCPX crashes .
I just downloaded and installed Sony PDZK-LT2 1.2.1 and FCPx 10.2 still hangs/crashes while attempting to import XDCAM.
The import window still does not properly show thumbnails.
The only other drivers i have installed but did not have to update were SXS driver http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/sxsudfdriver#features and I have XDCAM Transfer downloaded from sony which is a stand alone import application. I used this as stop gap for importing video from camera while getting FCPX 10.2 to work.
Just ran into this problem while attempting to import from a camera archive (created on another machine, fcpx 10.1.4).
Installing PDZK-LT2 1.2 drivers for XDCAM solved the problem for me.
Interesting note: Prior to the fix, I was able to open other camera archives made with older versions.
Thanks. Installing the two drivers you referenced fixed the problem for me. I'm pulling MXF files off an SxS card using an SBAC-US20 deck. I appreciate the help.
