safari won't open my gmail because of "too many redirects". I was in my gmail account and was forwarding an e-mail at the time I was "kicked out" of my gmail and then saw the screen about too many "redirects".

I was in my gmail and forwarding a message when I was "kicked out" because the screen stated that there had been "too many redirects". I am technically deficient and don't know what that means. I tried to reset Safari but that did not correct the problem. How would I fix this to be able to access gmail? Thank you.
