iMovie 10 help

I have been successfully using iMovie 9 since it was available. I recently tried to start using iMovie 10 and can make no sense of it. The help menu doesn't. Is there a manual or document that will walk me through getting started with iMovie 10? PFL

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), 32GB Memory, 3TB Fusion Drive

Thanks. Although I've made some progress with iMovie 10, my first impression is that it lacks the ease of use and clarity of iMovie 9.
