Suddenly Cannot view past text messages.

First off I have an IPhone 5S, OS 8.3, 32GB.


Today, suddenly without any explanation. I cannot view any past text messages that I have sent to SOME of my contacts. When I try to scroll back I can see a random message sent from a year ago and the text messages sent the last day. Nothing in between. Heres the interesting thing though. If I click "details" I can still see and hear all the pictures and voice messages sent between me and my contacts. It's just the text messages that won't show up. ALSO, this is only for contacts that have or have had an iPhone. Two of my contacts that never owned an iPhone I can scroll up and every text and pic is accessible in order.



Any ideas or tips about what's wrong or how to fix it?
