How do I restore my ipod. The song that shows is playing is not playing. Or is that iTunes?

Is this happening when you are using the iPod's On-The-Go Playlist feature? If so, are you adding additional songs to the playlist once you have started the playlist and it's these additional songs that show the wrong information?
Hey slelli,
Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you want to restore the iPod. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

To clarify my previous post and explain why I posed the question:
If you create an On-The-Go Playlist (on the iPod Classic), start it playing, and then add additional songs while the playlist is playing, the Classic has been known to play the first additional song but display the track information for the first song in the original list.
In other words, if this problem appears when using On-The-Go Playlists (as I've described), then a Restore will not fix the issue. It's a glitch on some models of iPod Classic. Mine does this sometimes, but not every time!
