How can I add Copyright watermark without using Photoshop file?

The Aperture Help features tellyou to create a PSD (Photoshop) file of your watermark and add it when Exporting Version of photo. I could not believe what I was reading. I got rid of Photoshop because I like Aperture better, and now you tell me I have to have Photoshop to add a Copyright Watermark to my Aperture photo files??? Really???

Did you skips a few steps? I understand using Grab to capture the screen, but how did you import the screen into the Aperture photo version? Did you save it first and if yes, in what format; PSD? After you merge the two files, how do you position the Watermark? Your example got scramble and put a transparent version at the top and an opaque version halfway through the photo.

BorderFX works, but it is very awkward.

I just used the jpeg image straight from the screen grab.

Go to the export version menu

You can then select a export preset, at the bottom of the list is an edit button, which will allow you to alter an existing preset or make a new one.

The watermark function is at the bottom.

Is fairly basic, pick an image to use as the watermark and set the opacity required ( a bit of trial and error till you gat it to your liking )

As for position it's a very limited choice .

Just play about with the setting till your happy.
