Normally when I go to "Computers" I see a listing of Movies, TV Shows, Photos etc.
Now I no longer see the Photos option.
I do not want to move my photos to a cloud. I simply want to see my local pictures on my local network.
Is this broken?
I have the same problem. But Photos was able to Home share photos with my AppleTV2 until very recently. I think the failure to show any photos or video began abut the time of updating to iTunes 12.1.2. Before that I noticed and reported a small problem with designating photos in iTunes for Home sharing. But at that time, a week or so ago, with some settings photos could be viewed on the AppleTV. Now nothing. And not just no Home Sharing, now also I don't see photos from iCloud either.
When it works you can see your photos and video from Photos on your TV without using iCloud.
GeeBird, have a look at this other discussion. I got sharing to work. mostly so far.
