Boot Camp partition not bootable after update

Can you post the current state of disk and the CS volume from OS X Terminal?

Hi LonerT, I too have lost the ability to boot into windows/bootcamp - only Mac & recovery are displayed at startup.

The GAP between GPT3 and GPT4 is your culprit, most likely caused by a Yosemite Upgrade. Can post this on a new discussion to avoid confusion.

Can you look at the following thread as a reference and get started with Testdisk? Post your findings on a new thread.

I am in the process of getting Bootcamp and WIN 7 on my iMAC 21.5 (late 2010). Should I upgrade to Yosemite first? I am hesitating with Yosemite due to the bad reviews for PHOTO - I have 30K photos and don't want to loose them - I see complaints of that. So I was going to keep Mavericks and iPhoto and go with Bootcamp & my licenced WIN 7

My recommendation is to stay away from Yosemite. Stay with Mavericks.

Were you in the process of creating a Hybrid MBR with Gdisk? Look at the second set of steps. Bootcamp partition missing after yosemite installation has a bit more detail with a sample Q&A as does Bootcamp problem after upgrading to Yosemite (disk0s4).
