Apr 17, 2015 2:24 PM in response to glovehawkby babowa,★HelpfulYou would have to make the videos smaller (resolution), but that equals lower to very low quality.
The problem isn't your file, it is your ISP; they all have maxiumums for attachment sizes. Yahoo has 25 MB (which is probably equivalent to a one second movie), iCloud's are here:
Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support
Your ISP no doubt has limits as well.
Sending movies via email is not a good idea - better to upload them to a site where others can look at them.

Every time I try to send an mpeg movie to someone using Mail I get the alert that the file is too large. I've converted them to ZIP files but they still won't send. Any one have a suggestion? Thanks

Apr 17, 2015 4:15 PM in response to iW00by babowa,Since the limit there is 5 GB, that would allow you to send about a 2 - 4 minute decent HD quality movie. And, it may not only be rejected by the recipient's ISP due to its' size, but the recipient may not have a fast connection and it could take an hour or more for a 5 GB file to download.

Apr 17, 2015 8:33 PM in response to glovehawkby Old Toad,★HelpfulIf you're running Yosemite you can also use Mail's new Mail Drop feature to send files up to 5 GB in size. This Apple document describes it: Mail Drop limits - Apple Support.
However, as babowa cautioned the speed of yours and the recipients internet connection will have a lot to do with how practical that method will be.
