Apr 20, 2015 2:21 PM in response to DreamSeasonby judysings,Hello DreamSeason,
Thanks for your question. The resource below will explain how you can change the sensitivity of the trackpad in System Preferences on your Mac.
Using a Force Touch trackpad - Apple Support
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204352Change trackpad settings
To adjust the pressure you need to click your trackpad, follow these steps.
- From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
- Click Trackpad.
- Click the "Point & Click" tab.
- Find "Click pressure" and adjust the slider to your preference. Note that the sound of the click changes with the click pressure setting.
To turn off Force click, deselect the “Force Click and haptic feedback” checkbox. This will disable the functionality described in the Trackpad preferences pane.
Enjoy your new Mac!

Apr 22, 2015 2:27 AM in response to judysingsby DreamSeason,Thanks for your reply. I've consulted specialist online already.
The thing I care fore specifically is to change the setting for tapping not clicking since I've chosen to tap to click. But it seems there is not any solutions to that up till now. Maybe I need to change a little bit from the habits developed from Magic Trackpad.

Jun 16, 2015 6:39 PM in response to judysingsby Canyonlight,What is the problem if the Force Touch Trackpad doesn't work at all after computer wake up?
I used the power switch to force power off and then restarted the computer. Force Touch Trackpad then seemed to work okay.
