Audio 1 Red bar - No vocals recorded.
Audio 1 has a red bar when recording and when I stop it, there are no vocals recorded. Anyone else having this issue?

If you are having an issue with being unable to record vocals in GarageBand on your iMac, you will want to make sure it is set up correctly. Use the steps on this help page -
GarageBand Help: Before recording audio
In particular you will want to monitor the recording so you will know if sound is coming through - the last section of the article.
