FCPX 10.2 3D text requires more RAM than i have, whats the fix

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Add more RAM?


Anyway,

How much RAM do you have. If running Yosemite, at least 2GB. FCPX requires at least 4GB, for 3D titles 8Gb is recommended so again adding more RAM if you don't have at least 4GB would be the solution.

Whether you can go up to 8GB or not depends on your exact model of Mac.

I may have been a little premature in my comments deprecating the new FCP X 3D titles!


As I stated, they were based on a cursory look which did not reveal their full potential . . . they are indeed impressive.


However, as others have suggested, we must try to avoid the mistake of creating mediocre films with gob-smackingly awesome titles.
