mail rules message disappear

Hi there

Two days ago I created a rule in Apple Mail, which will move all those emails with any recipient that contains my iCloud email to a folder on my mac. It was my mistake that I did not change this to the specific email I was targeting. But my mind was somewhere else

Immediately after that I moved all the emails back to Inbox and delete the folder and rule.

However, all those emails are gone together with the new ones that I received yesterday. I could see them as notifications but they were nowhere to be found in my mailboxes

Is there any way of possible recovering all those emails? I might have some backup but not for the latest ones. And I am getting a bit desperate trying to follow all possible leads on how to recover them
