Where did my numbers document go?

i Have numbers on my iPad, I created a few numbers spreadsheets. I clod says my space was low do I turned off the backup. When I go into I clod on my iphone under documents and data it says there is a numbers folder, which has the spreadsheets I am trying to locate, but I do not have the app on my phone. I then go into my iCloud settings on my iPad, and in the same location the folder says ita encrypted. I am completely lost. Anyone know where it went and how to retrieve
