I experienced the same thing on the SAME day (just last night) except I haven't restored it. Meaning I DID not want to restore the unit and LOSE all the Movies I had on the unit. Interesting that this occurred the same day you had your problem. Instructions state that you should be able to restore without losing the media but there was NO option on iTunes to restore & save!! Just an option to restore back to default losing all your purchased media. I hope you would share any solutions with me if you discover one before I do, and I will do the same. TangoPapa54

Apr 18, 2015 7:23 AM in response to TangoPapa54by vazandrew,The 2nd and 3rd gen devices have no accessible storage, all content is streamed. The OP has already restored so it's likely a hardware issue and needs to be tested by Apple
