Security Update 2015-004 v1.0 Error, Wont Install on Late 2008 Mac Pro 8 Core?

I just bought 10.8.5 Mountain Lion for my 2008 Mac Pro 8 core desktop (finally gave in and let go of Snow Leopard, RIP) and all updates installed without any issues. However when I downloaded the latest security update, installer keeps returning a fatal error message and contact software creators for assistants notation? Searched the net and haven't found any posts or threads relayed to this issue? Tried downloading and installing manually, with same results? Not sure if its a hardware or software issue or even where to begin trouble shooting. I'm finally stumped, anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Try booting into the Safe Mode and see if you can install it there.

Hey, thanks for the tip, tried installing the update manully while in safe mode. Unfortunately had the same results after the attempted install, I'm including a copy of the install log aswell. Someone might see something that I'm obviously over looking somewhere?? Also just for the record I had no problem installing this upstate along with all the other updates as well on my 2011 17-inch Macbook Pro… (Feel like such a "newb" on this one and I've been messing around with macs for almost 6 years now... go fig?? Ugh... LOL)

Hey, I tried that link you mentioned but still having the same results, tried one last trick by attempting to install through Terminal with an error message saying it doesn't recognize the install software… 😕

I've also got three other 3.5 hard drives installed for additional storage, with the main OS installed on a solid state drive, with a total of 4 drives. Don't suppose any of those additional drives might be causing the error? (There all formatted osx journaled, plus the only reason Im giving this any thought is my macbook pro doesn't have any other drives attached external or otherwise. Its also got a 2.5 solid state installed as well…? Ugh… 😟)
