I have considerable problem with the new Photos. I end up with multiple copies (up to three) appearing and these photos are not editable and not deletable. I can edit on the Laptop computer but I do not know which of the copies is the original.

Why has the iPhoto been decommissioned?

The new Photos is useless. I want to be able to edit and delete wherever I am viewing the photos I have taken.

At one point I had 40GB of memory taken up with the copies iCloud seems to be giving me. My 20,000 photos normally fit on 19GB.

When there are so many copies I do not know which one is the original.

I am only using My Photo Stream from iCloud and I am only using that now because I have lost material when I try to get out on the iCloud roundabout.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus, and iPad Air and a MacBook Pro (Retina) and after decades of Apple this is getting more messy to coordinate than I can ever remember.

iPad Air-OTHER, iOS 8.3
