OK so a few days ago I updated my old iPhone 5s and the screen stopped responding.It didn't scroll and responds in different areas from where I'm actually touching. Thinking it was my phone I did an insurance claim and got a brand new iPhone 5s but have the same exact problem. Is there anyway to fix this? Help please. I have the 8.3 update

THe same thing happened to mine but also to my ipad (the new ipad). I spend a lot of time typing because the screen does not respond at first touch. All this happened after the last update
I have a 5s and the most recent update. I am not having any issues like you are describing. You might restore the device to factory settings (back up first), and see if the problem persists. If it doesn't, restore from your backup and retest.
My 5s was fine right after updating then gradually developed the same thing. Now it's next to unusable as it opens windows, starts music and makes calls on its own, and as its screen is unresponsive there's no way to stop it from calling at random before the call goes through. Apple won't let me revert to 8.2 and for some reason there's no 8.4 option in my public beta account. Has 8.4 fixed it for anyone or do I really have to get myself a new phone?
Good news on the other thread, 8.4 beta does solve this issue. Waiting for WWDC.
