Pages 5.5.2 (or Numbers) don't recognize musical symbols font ! With Pages '09 it was ok. Of course, I can do it with an image, but I have no transparency.
What can I do except goin' back to iWork '09 ?
MacBook Pro (15-inch Early 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
Use the tools that work, therefore iWork '09 on Yosemite. If iWork '09 was installed prior to downgrading to Pages v5.5.2 and Numbers v3.5.2, then the older iWork '09 applications were silently moved into /Applications/iWork '09 folder. Any work done in Pages v5.5.2 will need to be exported to Pages '09 format.
There are far more (100+) features in Pages '09 v4.3 than in Pages v5.5.2.

What font are you talking about exactly? Did you try selecting it in Format > Font > Show Fonts?
You have not said what doesn't work, I find it hard to believe that standard unicode fonts with appropriate keyboards don't work.
Or have you tried one and come to the conclusion that that is all?
