Palm Pilot Tungsten E2 Bluetooth Sync.

I have a new MacBook and would like to do a Bluetooth HotSync with my Palm Pilot Tungsten E2 PDA. The Palm desktop software is installed on my Mac. I have had no trouble doing a Bluetooth HotSync with my HP Notebook PC however I'm not having any luck trying to do the same with my MacBook. I get a message saying that the port is currently being used by something else. Any and all help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I currently bluetooth sync my macbook with my tungsten e2 (with ical etc not the palm desktop software) and it works flawlessly. I just use isync, then go to settings and add palm. You need palm desktop installed even though you dont need to use it (which you have) and it works.

However I am tempted to get the 'missing sync' for mac as the drivers and background software for syncing the e2 with isync and palm run under rosetta and swell the ram use....

Thank you. I went to iSync and told it to scan for new devices. With the Palm Tungsten E2 turned on and the Bluetooth feature turned on, iSync said it did not find any devices. Any suggestions. I have the Palm desktop software installed and it syncs fine using the USB connection but no luck doing it with Bluetooth. I can Bluetooth sync the Palm Tungsten E2 to my hp Pavilion notebook PC without any problems. Do I need some additional Mac software from Palm?

Thanks again!
