cannot listen to cd/s. computer is ejecting Any ideas?
I have been able to listen to audio cd's on this computer, but it isn't reading the cd. I am at a loss.
Any suggestions...?

A lens cleaning may restore functionality. Use a lens cleaning DVD. Wrap a fine microfiber cloth (eye glasses cleaning cloth) around a business card and insert it carefully into the slot.
If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a free evaluation.
