how do i change incoming call number format?

This might sound like a silly question but we are all familiar with local numbers to our mobile phones right? i mean when a person calls my mobile from my area it usually would show on the display as 01925 816251 (for example. please dont call that number lol) BUT since the last update it is showing as 00 1 (925) 816-251 adding an extra 0 at the front which the phone then thinks its a caller from Martinez, CA and not Warrington, England.
