My itunes does not detect my apple tv.

Home sharing must be turned on.

iTunes does not see the AppleTV, the AppleTV sees iTunes through Home Sharing.

Apple TV summary page in iTunes, click Restore Apple TV.

There is no apple summary page in itunes

I have home sharing on but no apple tv there as well

I have the same issue. trying to reset 3rd gen Apple TV as I couldn't get it to wake up when connected to TV
