my photo stream

Hi, i have stumbled over a problem recently that my mum's iPad and my iPhone use the same apple id for iCloud and from a long time i have just had wifi and now my photos started syncing to iCloud and i received a phone call from my mum asking me about all the strange new pictures on her iPad. that actually came from my iPhone. so, i don't know what to do now. if i just changed my password will the photos disappear from the iPad. btw, i don't have access to the iPad as i am now overseas.

Any help would be appreciated.
