my iPad says cannot connect to server, I've turned router off and on 4 times but nothing helps

my iPad says in safari "cannot connect to server" and I can't get mail since 3 weeks ago. Ive unplugged my router 4 times and restarted my iMac but nothing helps. Please help me

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the iPad is not able to access the internet or get Mail. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.
