Email someone is trying to use my account

I've been getting emails from Apple saying someone is trying to use my account. When I clicked on one of the links it went to a weird page. Is this real or is it a phishing scam? Here is one of the emails:

Please Update your account !

We suspect that someone is trying to use your account. When you're ready, click the link below to update your account information. For your safety your account has been temporarily locked.

To start the update process click here

This link will expire after 24 hours.

You are welcome, Oregon Girl!

In your mail settings look for Viewing options.

Make sure that Load Remote content is not selected. That way you will not be too tempted to click on stuff from people you don't know. You still have the option of viewing the Remote content in any single email you receive.
