Where are my iBook files so that I can back them up to a separate media?
System: Yosemite 10.10.3 on a Macbook Pro 15" early 2011.

I assume that ~ is my user name then I have no visible /library folder to look at. What am I missing here?
~ this is your Home folder. In finder menu hold down the option key and select Go. You will see Library as an option. Select it and in the window that opens look for containers and then follow the path I gave you before.
I found them, thanks for the help. They had some rather cryptic names so I tried importing them into a new Calibre library but that didn't get a lot of metadata so I am going through and double clicking one by one and renaming the files. That will keep me off the streets and out of the pool hall for awhile :-)
