Screen is blank

The screen is blank. Doesn't respond to any buttons, etc. Can't turn off, or do anything. Was plugged in to power so that is not issue.

iPad 2, iOS 8.1

Try holding down the home and power buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Thanks Ethan7988. Problem solved. Holding down power button and home button simultanously bring the iPad back alive.

Wipe the device by holding down the home button while connecting to iTunes.
