Malware on my Mac that prevents use of Chrome

Hi all,

I keep getting pop up warnings whenever I use Chrome that actually freeze the entire search engine. Has anyone else dealt with the malware that I've pasted in below, and if so, how do I get rid of it from my Mac desk top running OS X 10.7.5? Thanks in advance for your help.
