How to export a garage band project from a macbook to an ipad

Hello, I have a garage band project created on a macbook, and I want to export it on to my ipad 4 (ios 8.3) to be able to edit it in garage band. Is this possible? How do I do it?

Thank you.

Open iTunes on your Macbook and select your iPad (if WiFi sync is on) or connect your iPad to your Macbook with a USB cable. From the iPad menu select Apps and find the File Sharing section. Select Garageband. You should now see a window of any Garageband files you have on your iPad. You can add files by dragging and dropping from your Macbook to your iPad file sharing window or clicking the Add button. Now click Sync and those files will be transferred to your iPad. You can also move files from your iPad to your Macbook the same way.
