Hi,
First of all, all that shows are files that I have bought from the iTunes store. All my imported discs are gone from the library.
All of my playlists have disappeared also.
I have tried the replacing the library file with a previous one, etc.
Are there any other methods other than adding in everything manually and going without my playlists?

i've had this same problem but all of my itl and xml files have become completely blank and unreadable?? but it still says they're holding information but iTunes does not acknowledge its existence. do i have to start from scratch?
Did you use the suggested copying and renaming steps, or use the shift-start-iTunes method to access the different library files? Simply double-clicking an itl file will open iTunes, but it opens the last library file opened, not necessarily the file you clicked on.
