my iPhone 6 plus iOS 8.3 connects to my jeeps uconnect just fine but my contacts or phonebook doesn't sync or show up on my uconnect screen, I have tried everything

Reset network settings first
Reset iPhone then if required
Restore as new and test without backup and if it then functions correctly then it was probably an update corruption of the iOS
Add back your backup
