Q: How do I delete Photos from my iPad only?

When i try to dele a photo from my iPad I get this message: "This photo will be deleted from iCloud Photo Library on all your devices." I only want to delete it from my iPad. I want to keep it on my desktop computer, and any that are on my iPhone.

It's not on your phone, or your desktop, it's in the iCloud Library, and all of your things view the same library.

If you want it just on the iPad, don't save it in the iCloud library.

My problem is the opposite. This is the message when I select a photo on my iPad and hit the trash: "This photo will be deleted from iCloud Photo Library on all your devices." I want to delete it from my iPad and only my iPad. This message indicates that deleting it from my iPad will automatically delete it from the cloud.
