MY late 2014 MacBookPro screen is black even with computer on. Support tried all of the over the phone suggestions and did not fix It.
I need to take computer for service, anyone else with this problem?

If you have a monitor, connect it. If the monitor is black, the GPU has failed, if the monitor shows a display, the display or display connection on the MBP is faulty.

I do not have a monitor but I did ask to hook up my iPad and they said I could not do it without seeing what is on the screen.

I Had tons of troubles with a windows product and splurged on a Mac hoping to avoid all of that, I am disappointed at this failure. All of

In general they are but we have had our dogs over the years.

So you should still be under warranty. Take it back to the Apple Store and make them fix it.
