favorites only onto iCloud and Apple TV?

Most (95%) of my photos are not anything I want to keep for long (pictures of price tags on things, stuff like that). The only ones I want to keep are the ones I favorite (a new verb I think). How do I get favorites only from iOS devices and the Mac onto iCloud? and then have them appear on the screensaver on Apple TV?
