Music has issues ever since update to 8.3

Ever since updating to 8.3 on my iPhone 5s, Music has been having issues. Each time I open the app, I am kicked into iTunes Radio. The app no longer saves my playlist progress. While it is not a terrible problem, I would love to know how to fix it so that I can maintain some variation in what I listen to.
